Columba Sat Here

We are standing on top of a little rise in back of the monastery. Legend has it that St. Columba retired to this little hill to work, and the stones around us are remnants of his desk, chair and inkwell.
Columba knew where to sit. The view is great, the scene is peaceful, and the wind drives away the midges.
